Privacy Policy — High Sierra Music Festival App

The High Sierra Music Festival app ("the app") is designed to help festival attendees navigate the event, view the schedule and lineup, and save sets they want to see. We take your privacy seriously and collect as little information as possible.

Information we use

Location: The app uses your device's location to show your position on the festival map, determine your nearest stage, and estimate walking times. Your location is used only on your device to power these features. We do not collect, store, or transmit your location to any server. Location access is optional — the app works without it, though location-based features will be limited.

Notifications: If you save a set, the app schedules local reminders on your device (15 minutes before and at start time). These notifications are generated entirely on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server and do not collect any notification data.

Saved sets and preferences: The sets you save and your app preferences are stored locally on your device. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

Information we do not collect

We do not require an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, or contact information. We do not track your activity, sell data, or use advertising identifiers. The app does not include third-party analytics or advertising.

Third-party services

The app uses Mapbox to display maps. Map data may be downloaded to your device for offline use. Mapbox's handling of map tile requests is governed by Mapbox's own privacy policy.

Data retention

Because your saved sets, preferences, and location are stored only on your device, you can remove all app data at any time by deleting the app.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL.
