Katdelic for Kids is a passion project created by RonKat Spearman. Bringing the funk to audiences of all ages, RonKat shares positive messages of self-confidence, standing up to bullying, and the importance of kindness. He has written songs especially for children—including his own—from preschool through middle school. RonKat performs for kids at music festivals, schools, community events and benefit programs, creating an interactive experience that gets everyone involved.  Audiences enthusiastically sing along to “We Want the Funk!” and learn all the moves of “The Katdelic Wobble.”

Louis Pearl has been delighting audiences around the world for more than 30 years with the art, magic, science, and fun of bubbles. A favorite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he has enjoyed 14 years of sell-out success. Louis explores the breathtaking dynamics of bubbles, blending comedy, artistry, and audience participation with a dazzling array of bubble tricks that captivate audiences of all ages. At High Sierra, Louis will be up close and personal—a rare opportunity to experience this acclaimed stage performer in the Family Village each morning. Be sure to catch him rocking out at some of the late-night stages, where he’ll be creating bubble-filled magic.

Grace Hayes is an internationally viral singer, songwriter, actress, and accidental comedian. Known as an American Idol alumna and Cartoon Network Composer, Grace's dedication to art with heart and edu-tainment has set cultural movements. Her show, Fun Size Facts is an educational and interactive sing-along performance that will leave you smarter and with a bigger smile.

Dr Kim Silverman

Dr Kim Silverman has been studying and performing magic for over 50 years.  He's a Magician Member of the World-Famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.  He's an Associate of the Inner Council of the prestigious Magic Circle in London, where he has been awarded the coveted Silver Star Medal for performance.  And many magical authorities believe he was the inspiration for a certain wizard in the Harry Potter stories.  He has given several popular TEDx talks on how to make magic meaningful.  If you see him at High Sierra, ask him to perform some close-up magic for you!  Better still: come to his shows or sign up for his classes!

SuperTallPaul

From street performing to joining circus troupes, improv theater, and late-night music festivals, SuperTallPaul has logged his 10,000 hours entertaining audiences around the world. After completing his military service, he moved to Los Angeles and immersed himself in the city's underground art and music scene, launching a dynamic career as a performer. SuperTallPaul is an entertainer, circus artist, multi-instrumentalist, and World Champion Live Looper. Best known for his One Man Band act, he’ll also be bringing the groove to High Sierra’s late-night scene with his Jive Joint. We’re excited to welcome SuperTallPaul to the Family Village Stage, as well as for an interactive performance in the Big Field.

Their music draws from deep roots in Appalachian, Americana, and classic Country traditions, with songwriting influenced by legends like John Prine, Dolly Parton, and Lucinda Williams. Essence’s voice has been compared to Emmylou Harris and Dolly herself. Her songs have appeared in film and TV, and she has shared stages with Sheryl Crow, The Old Crow Medicine Show, and Tom Petty. 

Essence & Gold Country’s set at The High Sierra Family Stage will make you laugh, smile, tap your toes and dance. They will play original songs from their album ‘A Dog Named Moo’ and share the truly silly stories behind them. Come ready to sing and expect their set to include a blend of originals and sing-a-long classics. This collection of songs was written for Essence’s son but have proven to have a life of their own, becoming family favorites of kids and parents alike across the country.

Nazanin Arastoo

Nazanin Arastoo was born in Tehran Iran where puppet shows that she saw in her childhood influenced her show Lost in the Forest. Her vision is to create cultural awareness, respect for nature and awareness of the influence of our actions in the world through her art. A great deal of wisdom is held in folk stories and fairy tales from all over the world that are transferring wisdom of ages across time.  Her puppet show Lost in The Forest merges together wisdom and lessons from various fairy tales from around the world and invites participation. 

Tyler Chic - Jesters Paradise

Ty is a traveling performer, prop designer, and workshop instructor who is passionate about bringing creativity, movement, and play to festival spaces. Jester's Paradise offers custom flow props, immersive performances, and accessible workshops that inspire connection, self-expression, and fun for all ages. Ty will host open Flow Zones in the Family Village throughout the weekend and lead daily workshops in the Family Village, and can be found roaming the festival in the evening.  

The Cosmic Hearts

This healing collaborative offers sound baths at immersive events and wellness gatherings designed to inspire presence, restoration, and authentic connection. Based in Reno, Cheryl Bowers, April Brown and Sonya Savoy have spent the past four years creating experiences designed to inspire presence, restoration, and authentic connection. The Cosmic Hearts will share their sound healing experience with gentle yoga creating an accessible and restorative space for families and individuals of all ages to relax, connect, and recharge together in the Family Village.

WORKSHOPS IN THE FIELD 

Beginner Magician Workshop with Kim Silverman

4PM Friday and 12PM Saturday: No prior experience necessary, must be at least ten years old. Maximum of 25 students per class.

Dr Silverman teaches professional-quality, fully-scripted card magic routines that include comedy elements yet focus on the experience of magic.  By the end of each workshop, every participant will be able to confidently perform the routines to mystify an audience.  This is a social skill that people can use for the rest of their lives.  Only active participants are allowed in this class, no passive observers.  All attendees receive a professional deck of cards to keep in order to practice. If there is interest, Dr. Silverman also has an advanced class.

Beginner BellyDance Workshop with Samantha Franklin

4PM Saturday and 5PM Sunday: for Tweens, Teens and Adults

Learn the foundational moves of this joyful, powerful and graceful ancient art, as well as a few combinations to try out on the dance floor! Coin chiffon hip scarves will be provided.

All Flow Arts- From Beginner to Master with Ty Chic

Friday, Saturday and Sunday: All ages & experience levels welcome

Start your juggling journey with personalized instruction from Ty Chic. In the Flowtruvian Workshop, Ty teaches the fundamentals of body movement and flow, building a foundation that can be applied across a wide range of flow arts. From there, each daily workshop is tailored to participants' interests and may include Poi, Diabolo, Staff, Club Juggling, Magic Wands, Flowstars, and more.

Hands-On with the Amazing Bubble Man, Louis Pearl

Morning time, before the sun climbs too high in the sky, is the perfect time for bubbles in Family Village. From square bubbles and bubbles inside bubbles to fog-filled bubbles, giant bubbles, bubble volcanoes, tornadoes, and trampolines—even people inside bubbles—the Amazing Bubble Man conjures shrieks of laughter and gasps of amazement from audiences of all ages. Equal parts science, artistry, and pure fun, this interactive experience is sure to delight kids and grown-ups alike.

Giant RhythmetriX Drum Circle with Max and Friends 

Have you ever wanted to make music with your friends? Well, join RhythmetriX with your kiddo and we can do just that! By using drums to combine music with movement and mindfulness, RhythmetriX provides FUN, accessible, engaging rhythmic events. All ages and skill levels are welcome! Throughout each session, participants can expect to go on a rhythmic adventure in a low pressure, high rewarding environment.

Create a Puppet Show with Nazanin

Nazanin Arastoo was born in Tehran, Iran, where the puppet shows she enjoyed as a child inspired her to begin creating puppets of her own. An artist and educator, Nazanin brings a unique blend of creativity, storytelling, and hands-on learning to her workshops. This is a special opportunity to meet Nazanin, experience her puppets up close, and learn from her artistic process. Participants will have the chance to create their own puppets and even put on their own puppet shows. Who knows? You might even bring your creation to the Talent Show on Sunday!
