CAMPING & PARKING
Camping
is included with all multi-day passes, and is available on a first
come, first served basis. If on-site camping fills to capacity, off-site
camping is provided.
On-Site Camping
Camping is designated on a first come, first served basis. When on-site camping
is at capacity, off-site camping will be assigned. The fairgrounds have permanent
restrooms and showers, and we supplement the facilities with ample portable toilets,
a shower trailer and a portable sink unit. Camping at High Sierra can be quite
cozy, especially in the more popular areas such as Shady Grove, Hillside and
Big Meadow. Please be courteous and take only the space you need. Roping off
areas and saving space for latecomers is not acceptable festival etiquette. Regardless
of where you camp, bring shade structures, tarps or anything that will help create
a shaded area in your campsite as summer days in Quincy are very warm.
Family Camp
We try to create a more kid-friendly environment in the eastern end of the Shady
Grove campground (quieter late at night; louder early in the morning). If you've
got little ones in tow and you are interested in camping in Family Camp, let
your shuttle driver or parking attendant know and you'll be pointed in the right
direction. An On-site Vehicle Pass is required for parking in Family Camp, and
as always space is designated on a first come, first served basis.
Accessible
Camping and Parking
We are happy to accommodate those vehicles with state issued
blue disabled placards and/or license plates on-site. Purchase of
a vehicle pass is required. Be sure to show your placard to be directed
to accessible camping and/or parking. This will enable you to park
very close to your campsite and accessible bathhouses. The entire
grounds are wheelchair accessible.
Grandview
Campground (off-site)
Located off Lee Rd., just a quick stroll away
from Gate 3 of the Fairgrounds. This campground will have portable
toilets, and potable water. This is a quiet, low-noise area after
11pm. Vehicles parking here must have a Grandview Campground pass
($20), and RVs parking here must have an RV Annex Pass.
**Note: Due to property changes, Mill Creek Campground
no longer exists.
PARKING
On-site Parking
A limited number of On-site Vehicle Passes are available for purchase. On-site
Vehicle Passes are available only to those with 4-day festival passes.
There are no vehicle ins and outs. On-site parking spaces will be
assigned on a first come, first served basis according to our parking
plan. Parking areas and camping areas are separate - walk-in camping
areas are close to parking areas. Single day parking is located off-site.
On-site RVs and Buses (SOLD OUT)
A very limited number of on-site RV passes are required
for all vehicles longer than 18’ including trailers. On-site RV passes
are available only to those with 4-day festival passes. RVs and buses
will be assigned spaces based on what is available at the time of
entry. Hookups are not guaranteed except for those who purchase FestivAll
Pack 3. On-call pumping/fresh water service is available for all
RVs - please see High Sierra program guide for details. RV passes
and FestivALL 3 holders are entitled to a 20'w x 35'l space which
must include your vehicle and any tents or shade structures. If the
vehicle is longer, please contact us in advance for special placement.
Off-site RV Annex
All
RVs parking off-site are required to purchase an RV Annex pass. RV
Annex parking is located primarily in three locations: RV Annex
Field (off Lee Rd/Industrial Way), Grandview Campground (Bresciani
Lane), and Shady Grove Annex (off 70/89). RV Annex is dry camping
--no hook-ups are available. On-call pumping/fresh water service
is available for all RVs - please see High Sierra program guide for
details.
Free Festival Parking
The free festival parking lot or “Express Lot” is .25
miles from Gate 3 of the Fairgrounds on Bell Lane. Shuttles and
special cargo vehicles will help expedite transporting you and your
belongings to the Fairgrounds at the commencement of the festival,
and will be available until on-site camping is full.
