Chicago’s starting five -- Brendan Bayliss (guitar, vocals), Jake Cinninger (guitar, synthesizers, vocals), Joel Cummins (keyboards, vocals), Andy Farag (percussion), Kris Myers (drums, vocals), and Ryan Stasik (bass), enters its second decade together with their darkest and most artistically cohesive album to date. Mantis is Umphrey's first fully fleshed-out studio statement since 2006's Safety in Numbers, and consists entirely of material never previously performed on the road. Coming off an extensive spring tour, you can count on Umphrey's coming in ready to rock both their daytime and late-night sets.
