"you'll kinda love being taken hostage
by these two"
Jerry Joseph got his start in music in the 80's when he led
the reggae/rock band Little Women, based out of Boulder, Colorado,
which ruled the Rocky Mountain club circuit for most of the
80's and broke up in 1993. Joseph continued to record before
an oft-publicized drug addiction temporarily sidelined his
career. But like the best musicians, there's a forward motion
to the man and his work, some force that compels things ahead
from where they've been and he remains as energized performer
(with his barefoot intensity) and prolific songwriter. Joseph
is paired here with his bandmate from Stockholm Syndrome,
versatile percussionist/drummer Wally Ingram, who for years
toured as a duo with David Lindley (appearing at High Sierra
in 1998) and has played and/or toured with such folks as Sheryl
Crow, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Timbuk 3 and Eric Burden.
